Swarm Of Locusts Headed Towards Uttar Pradesh! Delhi On High Alert

After entering Gurgaon on Saturday (27/6/2020) morning, the swarm of locusts then proceeded towards Faridabad by the afternoon. And the locusts are now headed towards Uttar Pradesh and are expected to descend there by Saturday evening. According to the officials, the swarm of locusts was spotted DLF Phase 1 and MG Road in Gurgaon at 11 am.

According to Fardibad Deputy Commissioner Yashpal Sharma, the city of Faridabad was well prepared to deal with the locust attack. He further added that no crops have been damaged. The locusts are flying from Rewari and back, but haven’t entered the fields due to which the crops have stayed unaffected. However, he said that now the swarm of locusts is headed towards Uttar Pradesh. The locusts have left Faridabad and will probably try to enter Uttar Pradesh through Palwal. As a result, Delhi is on a high alert.
