IPL 2021 : POSSIBLE REPLACEMENTS FOR T. NATARAJAN AT SUNRISERS

IPL 2021: POSSIBLE REPLACEMENTS FOR T. NATARAJAN AT SUNRISERS

T. Natarajan who has very consistently performed well for Sunrisers Hyderabad is set to miss the whole IPL season this year due to a knee injury. Here are some Indian bowlers who can fill this void in the Sunrisers squad.

1. Ankit Rajpoot

Ankit Rajpoot who featured for Kolkata knight riders in the 2016 season is a quick fast bowler who can hit the deck hard, but due to his high inconsistent performance he hasn’t been able to settle in a squad and as a reason he went unsold this season.

In 2016, Rajpoot picked up 3 wickets. Later on, in 2017, he picked four wickets for the Knight Riders. After his time with the Kolkata-based franchise, he was selected by the Kings XI Punjab in 2018. During that season, he picked 11 wickets. Last year while playing for Rajasthan Royals, he picked up just two wickets with an expensive economy rate of 11.70. With 24 wickets in his IPL career, he can prove to be an experienced fast attacker for Sunrisers.

2. Varun Aaron

An experienced Indian international who has featured for various IPL franchises in his career. He has also been a part of Indian nation team at various points in his career. But again his inconsistent performances at high levels have cost him his place at most of the franchises he has been a part of.

Aaron has been a part of IPL since 2011. In this career, he has an expensive economy rate of 8.89 and with just 42 wickets in his IPL career, he can help Sunrisers with his pace.

3. Tushar Deshpande

Tushar Deshpande is a bit new face on this list but he also has got IPL experience as he has been a part of the Delhi Capitals last season who reached the finals last year. His highly inconsistent performance made Delhi drop him from their squad and now he is a free agent. He had a bowling average of 64.00, and he bowled at an economic rate of 11.29. He too can prove to be an important figure if he finds his form.
