ICC RANKINGS: INDIA LOSE TOP SPOT IN TEST RANKINGS, DROPS TO THIRD

Meanwhile, India still tops the ICC Test Championship points table with 360 Points with Australia trailing just behind with 296 points. The latest annual update rates all the matches played since May 2019 at 100% and those of the previous two years at 50%.

The Australian Cricket Team gained the top spot in the Test Cricket Rankings after 3 years. It leads the table with 116 points. The close fight in the table is followed by New Zealand trailing just with 1 point, I .e.115 points. India, which slipped to third is the only a couple of points behind Australia, I .e.114 points. Such a close fight was observed only once back in 2003, where test rankings were launched.

England retained the top spot in the ODI Rankings. It tops the table with 127 points and increasing the lead over India from 6 to 8 points. India (119 points) and New Zealand(116 points) remain in second and third places respectively.
