Drishyam 2, the sequel of popular Malayalam movie Drishyam is now officially confirmed by the lead actor Mohanlal. The movie will depict Georgekutty’s (Mohanlal) family life after 7 years of the high-profile case.
Mohanlal turned 60 today and on his birthday, he announced that he is once again leading the popular movie’s sequel, Drishyam 2.

Drishyam 2 was completely unexpected by the fans. The fans thought that the case was over and the movie was a one-time watch. However, Jeetu Joseph (Director) and Mohanlal are ready to work for the sequel, Drishyam 2.
With the announcement, fans are now eagerly waiting for the start of shooting and then finally the movie, Drishyam 2.
Drishyam 1 was a movie based on a small family in a town of Kerala. The wife of Georgekutty, along with their child had mistakenly killed the son of Inspector General of Police. Georgekutty then tricks the police and saves his family.
The movie was a blockbuster and the highest grossing Malayalam Movie which crossed Rs.50 Crore on Box Office. Drishyam 2 is badly awaited now.

The popular Malayalam movie Drishyam was also remade in Hindi. Ajay Devgn, Tabu were the lead and the movie gained tremendous response in Bollywood. It crossed 100 crore mark in box office and was highly rated for its thriller. Drishyam 2 will also be anticipated by fans in Hindi.
