Crystal Palace vs Manchester United
Time : 01:45 am
Manchester United is now trailing their neighbors Manchester City by 15 points after City picked up a win against Wolves on Tuesday night. United will need a result especially with the shadow of the pivotal Manchester Derby looming. The Red Devils were held to a 0-0 stalemate against Chelsea and will be looking to get back to winning ways against an injury-ravaged Crystal Palace. Roy Hodgson’s team have been severely hit by injuries with Wilfried Zaha, Wayne Hennessey, Mamadou Sakho, James Tomkins, Nathaniel Clyne, Nathan Ferguson, James McArthur, Jeffrey Schlupp, and Connor Wickham all unavailable due to various injuries. Scott Mctominay returned on Sunday for United, while Donny Van De Beek and Edinson Cavani have returned to training. This would leave Paul Pogba as the only confirmed major absentee. Palace managed to grab a shock win at Old Trafford on the first day of this season but it would be a momentous task to repeat that result this time around, with the Eagle’s squad down to their bare bones. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will hope Anthony Martial starts firing again after having a poor season so far, especially with the Derby on Sunday.
