It all started when a video of an influencer and content creator named Dananeer went viral in Pakistan. Being notorious for posting comic videos on her social media poking fun at ‘burgers’, this video going viral was really big for her.
It is a short video clip where Dananeer is seen vlogging her partying with her friends. She could be heard saying, “Yeh humaari car hai, yeh hum hai aur yeh humaari pawri ho rahi hai” ( This is our car, this is us and our party is going on ).
The meme trend continued it’s way to India by virtue of a musical quirky twist to the video adding beats and melody by Yashraj Mukhate to which the Indian netizens can’t resist to groove at. With that being released and gathering over 30 million views and setting the ‘Yashraj Mukhate Pawri Ho Rahi Hai’ trend in India, the meme scene in India exploded like crazy.
As memes started to flood in centered either by the Pawri Ho Rahi hai song by Yashraj or Pawri Ho Rahi hai video, we can expect this track to soon be used in pubs to set the mood right. Tons of memes surfaced online and with tons more to come, the Indian brands didn’t let this golden chance of using it to their benefits.
Lots of brands in India have been using a similar tone and set of statements which are so simple and experimental to come up with their own brand promotional version of “Yeh humaari pawri ho Rahi hai”.
