However, one should know which type of color process printing technique they must use to enhance the quality of their printing material. Lets take a look at the different types of color process printing one can use for several purposes:

1.     Four Color Printing

Its a system where the color images are separated into four different color values using screens and filters. Earlier, the process was done using a photographic film on graphic arts cameras, but nowadays these printing processes are done by digital software. The result of the four-color printing technology is a color separation of the four different images that are transferred to a printing plate to print the original image using four different inks, including cyan, yellow, magenta, and black. So, all these four colors can be used at a single time and create a magnificent printing material. Generally, this printing method is used for printing graphic arts and commercial printing materials including brochures, flyers, etc. The best part of the four-color printing technique is that it consumes a little amount of ink but prints at a faster speed. So, businesses can yield several advantages by opting for four-color printing technology. However, only the best four-color process printing service can offer the best quality full-colored images. So, one should choose a printing company carefully.

2.                 Six Color Process Printing

Six-color process printing or a Hexa-chrome is a process designed for better and in-depth printing. In addition to the traditional CMYK printers, the six-color printers come in two different forms. One can use cyan, yellow, black, green, orange, magenta to print their materials. Generally, this technique can be used for printing almost anything that requires in-depth color printing. Also, if the person requires any particular spot colors in their printed materials, the six-color process printing technique can be the ideal choice to opt for. Traditionally, this technique is used in inkjet printers but this can be used for screen printing too. So, one can use these six-color process printing for their businesses.

3.                 Eight Color Process Printing

Eight color process printing techniques can enhance the overall look of the image and produce a finer image with its latest technique. It uses four light colors along with four additional colors, including cyan, magenta, yellow, and black used in the four-color printing process. Previously, businesses were only aware of four-color process printing techniques, but nowadays, these printing trends are evolving. People are more concerned about the color concepts when it comes to printing materials. Without using the right set of colors, the materials dont easily grab the attention of the target customers. So, people are coming up with unique ways to enhance the appeal of printing materials. One of the best parts of using eight-color process printing is that this reduces the graininess in the image. Generally, there are only two parameters that are responsible for the graininess in digital printing. These include the positioning of the printed dots and ink density. One of the primary goals of eight color process printing is to reduce the graininess by using light inks.

4.                 Ten Color Process Printing

Ten-color process printing is a technique that uses the same standard and color used in the eight-color printing process in addition to a photo black and matte color. In order to add a standard level of quality and greater crispness, one must use 10-color process printing techniques. The two additional inks that are used in the 10-color process printing technique can be used in a certain way to create more vibrant color. It helps to produce a premium quality image for businesses by increasing the vibrancy of the colors.
