Google Doodle is celebrating the most popular US-based LGBTQ+ and Drag queen Marsha P. Johnson. On 30 June she was Posthumously honored as Grand Marshal of the New York city pride march.

Marsha was also key leaders of 1969 stonewall uprising- which is said to be the turning point for LGBTQ+ community in 1969 she founded the organization called STREET TRANSVESTITE ACTION REVOLUTIONARIES (STAR) this organization was the first organization in the US which was led by Transgender women also STAR organization was the first shelter for LGBTQ+ youth.
The founder and executive director of this Marsha P. Johnson institute said in doodle page "For so long, Marsha's history has only been heralded by LGBTQ+ community today's doodle will help to teach her story to many more around the world, and about the work historically and often purposely left out of history book today's doodle of Marsha reminds people that black and LGBTQ+ is bigger than just a month it is something to be honored every single day"
every year June is considered as Pride Month in the whole world to honor the Marsha and her work for supporting the LGBTQ+ community.
